The annual Princeton Theological Seminary Graduate Conference, to be held on the 9th and 10th February 2018, invites submissions on the theme of ‘Christianity and the Body’. This year’s keynote will be delivered by Dr. Eugene Rogers of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
From its very beginning, Christianity has professed belief in a God who took on flesh and lived an embodied life. This invites reflection upon our own embodiment from a number of pressing perspectives. We therefore seek creative submissions which examine Christianity’s relationship with the human body. Any number of important questions might be raised, both critical and constructive, and paper topics from a broad disciplinary range are welcomed, including but not limited to:
History
Biblical Studies
Political Theory
Theology
Ethics
Philosophy
Sociology
Spirituality
Religious Studies
Practical Theology
We welcome proposals for 15-20 minute paper presentations. Please send paper proposals not exceeding 300 words to [email protected] and[email protected] by 15th December 2017.
