AAR scholars in the Southwest region are eligible for a number of grants and scholarship to further their research.
AAR-SW Regional Travel Grant
The AAR Regions Committee provides each region with $300 for regional meeting travel grants. The grant may be awarded to one AAR member traveling to the regional meeting or divided among several people. A committee chaired and appointed by the CRO solicits applications and makes decisions how to allocate the funds. Grant applicants participating in the regional meeting who lack institutional support are given preference in the selection process.
