The American Antiquarian Society and the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation are now accepting applications for the 2017-2018 Hench Post-Dissertation Fellowship. The Fellowship provides a twelve month stipend of $35,000 to scholars no more than three years beyond the receipt of their PhD in order to facilitate the further research, revision, and publication of their dissertations. The Hench Post-Dissertation Fellowship considers funding any research project related to American history and culture through 1876. The deadline for submission is October 15, 2016.
